[The ideal is true solitude, time alone and away, out of the reach of all demands except an inner one for God, Ultimate Truth. Our time and culture has made that solitude more and more difficult for most. But we can find relative solitude. If you feel yourself a "victim of our society" turn off the TV/music/news, step away from conversation, and let the quiet and, if you have it, the solitude rush in.
