Using Our Gifts for Others

Sister Ruth Burrows
"At an early age, Elisabeth [of the Trinity] received what we might call the gift of ecstatic prayer, a sort of experiential knowledge of God’s love and presence. Such a gift is not holiness but a means to lead a person to holiness and make his or her life fruitful for others.
"God has given to each of us, without exception, gifts intended for the same purpose. What matters is that we use them to the full!"
