God's Constant Revelation

Bernadette Roberts
"Every religion, however, is based on someone’s experience of God’s revelation, a revelation, however, that can only be verified when others have experienced this revelation for themselves. In other words, if God were not consistently revealing Itself to individual people, no one’s revealed experience of God could be verified – and thus, no man’s religion verify it...
Mere belief in someone else’s experience or revelation cannot last, nor could that religion endure."
The Real Christ, chapter: The Man Jesus

  1. This is why Christianity is a religion of revelation - Truth is revealed rather than reasoned.
