"Our world has a pressing need of people of deep prayer, these witnesses of God. We don't expect them to solve our problems. It is enough that they are alive. Their lives are a reply to all our questions. Christians talk a great deal about God, and they even do things for him, but very few agree to live only for him, in a life of adoration and praise. If you are lucky enough to meet one of these people of God, perhaps this is a call for you to be a relay runner of God among your brothers and sisters. Certainly you would not be exempt from working for them, but your real stewardship would be to show them God within a person."
