Missing the Revelation of Christ

Bernadette Roberts

“The general Christian view is that Jesus physically died, and after a few hours, was miraculously revivified. So apart from the soul’s leaving the body for a few hours, there was no real change, nothing of any import. That the soul’s temporary absence from the body is what most Christians understand of Jesus’s death and resurrection – and no doubt their own – is the usual party-line presentation of these events. But such a belief so completely misses the revelation of Christ, it makes belief in Christ absolutely meaningless.

That God forgives everyone’s sins, has nothing to do with the true nature of death and resurrection – the revelation of Christ.
