I Am God's Dwelling Place

Paraphrased as a Meditation

I will not enter my house or get into my bed,
I will not give sleep to my eyes nor slumber to my eyelids,
until I make a place in this very moment for God in my body, mind and heart,
a dwelling place for the Mighty One

I will go to God’s sanctuary;
And worship from my place in God’s world!

For God has chosen me;
I will live according to his Will;
God is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, lost in God’s love.

The Lord abundantly blesses me, heart, mind and soul;
In God, all my needs are satisfied.
