[When we read someone who writes: “love God,”, and we feel we don’t ‘know God’ so therefore how can we love something we don’t know—we can recognize the desire to know God, even the fear that says you are not getting closer, not doing it right. That urge is itself, God drawing us. I had a meditation teacher many years ago who told us, “As soon as you realize you are off the mantra, you are on the mantra”.
