We Live in God

Take any of our five senses out of our bodies and we could still survive. Take our breath out of our bodies and we could not. We have this in common with everyone who is alive; we all live on the air we breathe. The image that we generally have of God is that He is somewhere in the air, somewhere above us in heaven. But air is above us, around us, and inside our lungs. As the author Agnes Sanford has observed, "We live in God. That's what we breathe".
