Whatever I read now, I am thinking of all of you and watching for things good enough to share. Three things I heard recently strike me as Western Koans. The first is something Jesus said to his disciples and the second I saw in the puzzle page of our local newspaper. As for the third, I don’t recall now what I was reading when I saw it, but the words jumped out at me and lifted me out of a certain lethargy in which I was mired. Each deepens as you think on it.
“But you, who do you say that I am?” Matthew 6:15
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.
Make an effort.
