Go to a Person of God

It is enough just to meet truly spiritual people to discover your true self and, above all, to know what you should do. You do not even have to ask for advice. Just let them look at you, for they share in the gaze of God, and they show you your true identity. Some days you may ask yourself questions; you are burdened by sin or crushed by misery. Go to this person of God. Don't tell this person your story, but be there, open before him or her, in silence. 

Concerning Christian mystics, Henry Bergson wrote, "They only have to exist; their existence is a call." A saint understands you without speaking. He or she looks at you as no one else can and, in his or her gaze, you understand everything. Your questions, your doubts, and your worries disappear without your knowing how or why.
